The Corporate Marketing & Communications Manager safeguards and promotes ONI’s brand reputation across all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and community partners. This role serves as a trusted source for company-wide communication, brand consistency, and marketing execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Generate marketing collateral, including press releases, articles, videos, presentations, and advertisements for corporate messaging, business development, and affiliate collaboration.
• Develop annual corporate update videos featuring leadership and affiliate collaboration.
• Oversee branding consistency across ONI and subsidiaries, ensuring correct logo usage, brand standards, and trademark compliance.
• Administer the creation, development, and ongoing maintenance of the ONI website to ensure it meets company needs, supports marketing strategies, remains relevant and current, and adheres to brand guidelines.
• Conduct marketing analytics to assess brand impact, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
• Lead graphic design efforts for digital and print materials, ensuring high-quality content creation.
• Audit and update company websites to maintain accuracy and brand integrity.
• Manage corporate social media presence across multiple platforms.
• Support affiliate collaboration through tailored content creation, including video production for internal company awareness.
• Oversee communication strategies for corporate and business development activity.
• Develop and distribute press releases and articles for ONI and affiliates.
• Provide internal communications support via email and ghostwriting (white-label articles) for leadership and departments.
• Lead crisis communication efforts, coordinating with risk and sustainability teams.
• Manage company-wide newsletters and internal messaging, including ONI Insight publication.
• Pitch ONI-related content to industry and local publications.
• Act as a community liaison in Birmingham, fostering employee participation in outreach initiatives.
• Publish the annual Community Investment Report and ensure its company-wide distribution.
• Maintain and update ONI marketing materials and assets for ease of access.
• Lead the Marketing Council, ensuring best practices and shared strategies among teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field. MBA a plus.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in marketing communications.
• Strong expertise in marketing, corporate communications, and brand management.
• Experience in digital marketing, marketing analytics, social media management, and public relations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with departments, subsidiaries, and external partners.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, including ghostwriting and content creation for thought leadership.
• Knowledge of corporate development communication and internal awareness strategies.
• Proficiency in graphic design software and multimedia content creation tools
• Proficiency in WordPress system software to maintain ONI website
