The Communications and Marketing Manager will play an important role in the development and execution of Powertech’s marketing, branding, and communications objectives and goals. We are looking for a hands-on Manager who can implement multi-channel marketing campaigns and articulate Powertech’s expertise in performance/type testing, modelling and studies, and consulting services for the electric utility, OEM, industrial, and clean energy industries.
In this Management Entry role, you will develop and implement an effective, end-to-end marketing and communications strategy that will improve Powertech’s position in existing and emerging markets. This is ideal for a result-driven Marketing professional who can move quickly from planning to execution and agile in adapting to commercial business requirements.
• Lead and deliver a compelling and creative marketing campaign that will elevate and promote Powertech’s brand, technical services and reputation.
• Design and execute multi-channel marketing projects which are aligned with business objectives and global market expansion.
• Perform market research, monitor industry and competitor trends to determine market opportunities, requirements and results. Implement data-driven marketing initiatives to support revenue growth.
• Actively plan and participate in conferences and industry forums, representing Powertech’s interests professionally and positively.
• Provide expert advice on corporate internal and externals communications. Collaborate with senior leaders on communication initiatives that will articulate our company goals, including leadership updates, change and organizational announcements and messages that will enhance employee engagement.
• Provide oversight on Powertech’s webpage, digital communications and social media platforms ensuring content that engages with industry experts, customers and our employees.
• Develop and manage a LinkedIn strategy to increase engagement and brand credibility.
• Oversee daily social media management, including content planning, posting, and audience interaction.
• Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and improve customer engagement strategies. Implement initiatives to improve customer retention and long-term business relationships
• Administer and analyze the customer satisfaction data, maximize response rate, and generate customer satisfaction reports that will provide business leaders with customer, market, and marketing channel related insights
• Manage small marketing communications team including professional goal setting, performance planning and empowering members to achieve team success
• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize ROI
• Manage marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated to high-impact initiatives
• Execute Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies to improve customer service, enhance customer retention and business and headcount efficiencies
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required). A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum of six (6) years progressive Marketing/ Communications experience, preferably in an engineering or technical service-related market.
Demonstrated leadership experience in optimizing marketing plans and strategies, data analytics, social media management and performance measurement tools.
Proven track record in marketing communications and navigating complex market dynamics. Familiarity with CRM and CSAT tools and technologies, marketing automation, and data analytics tools.
At least three (3) experience in managing a small to medium-sized marketing communications group. Able to lead by example in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

*Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and able to convert technical ideas and complex information in an impactful way
*Keen interest and understanding of Powertech's goals and business objectives
*Notable success in working directly with Powertech's internal and external clients on defining marketing and communication requirements and challenges
A condition of employment for this job is that you maintain your Driver's License (Class 5) in good standing.
