Minpraxis Solutions is a Vancouver-based mining technology company delivering innovative geotechnical and geometallurgical characterization of rock samples. We partner with mining companies to generate continuous, high-resolution rock information that improves mine design, planning, and operational decision-making.
We are looking to engage two to three geology or mining students or junior geologists to support an upcoming core logging, core cutting, and geotechnical testing project at UBC.
This is a temporary project-based role with an expected duration of 1 to 1.5 months. The work will be carried out at the UBC Point Grey Campus, with equipment and training provided.
The position may be full-time or part-time, depending on project needs and candidate availability. You will work closely with the Minpraxis team to support project deliverables related to core characterization and geotechnical testing.
The anticipated project start date is early to mid-May.
