Project Manager – Infrastructure Focus
DACK Consulting, a reputable and growing Construction Consulting/Management firm, is looking to hire a dedicated Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:
•Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion.
•Lead project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
•Assemble and manage project teams; set goals and assign responsibilities.
•Oversee project accounting: track budgets, monitor expenses, and minimize risks.
•Ensure all construction activities adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
•Maintain clear and consistent communication with contractors and subcontractors.
•Coordinate efforts between architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
•Monitor project progress through regular site visits and status meetings.
•Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
•Maintain complete and accurate project documentation.
•Serve as the primary liaison with clients; review and approve deliverables before submission.
•Address and resolve critical project issues and changes as needed.
Requirements:
•Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
•Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction, including large-scale building and rehabilitation projects.
•At least 4 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing projects valued at $10 million or more.
•Strong knowledge of construction phases, documentation, and processes.
•Proven ability to lead on-site operations focused on scheduling, safety, and quality.
•Experience coordinating with designers and resolving key project/client issues.
•Full understanding of change order processes, cost reviews, and contractor payment approvals.
Preferred:
•Infrastructure project experience (e.g., utilities, transportation, public works, security/facility infrastructure) is highly desired.
