Our main office is located in Elk Grove Village, IL. This position is based in the Central Illinois marketplace (Springfield, Champaign/Urbana).
AGAE Contractors, Inc, is currently seeking a full-time Project Manager (PM) to oversee the construction and delivery of both new construction and renovation projects ranging from $1 - $25+ million. This position requires managing 3-6 projects, concurrently, under limited supervision. The PM is responsible for the management of the entire project, including scheduling, purchasing, quality and safety. The Project Manager will support and work with management, operations, finance, and the estimating staff in the review of project plans, requirements and specifications, and the overall project management. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong communication/interpersonal skills and be confident in his/her ability to develop and manage multiple projects at one time.
· Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Buy out projects.
· Point of contact for client project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers and more.
· Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
· Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s).
· Collaborate with estimating team in the review of construction plans / specifications and break the scope of work into subcontractor trade packages.
· Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
AGAE Contractors, Inc. is interested in candidates with the following qualifications:
· 4-year degree in Construction Management is preferred.
· 2-5 years of construction industry project management experience is preferred.
· Experience managing multiple projects at one time.
· Solid computers skills with MS Office Suite, construction management software (Procore) and financial management software (Timberline, Spectrum, Foundation, etc..).
· Knowledge of construction cost, principles, design, cost reporting and cash flow management.
