We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager
to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, customers, and vendors to help keep projects safe, organized, and on schedule.

- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination, scheduling, and communication
- Assist with project safety oversight and compliance requirements
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and documentation
- Coordinate material orders, equipment requests, and labor needs with field teams
- Conduct site visits as needed to gather project information and support progress tracking
- Maintain and update project schedules and reporting tools
- Assist with pay application preparation and supporting documentation
- Gather and prepare information for RFIs, change orders, traffic control plans, outage requests, erosion control plans, SWPPPs, and daily crew line-outs
- Track and organize project data using spreadsheets and reporting tools
- Manage project material and equipment inventory, including identifying needs, returns, and transfers
- Serve as a liaison between the company, customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Prepare agendas and support meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Address project-related questions, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with managers and team members to improve productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, contractual, and company standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); MS Project experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Professional problem-solving and time-management skills
- Eligible to obtain access to government installations
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
- Two (2) years of related construction project management experience required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
