- Manages volume actualization and settlements of natural gas supply, optimization activities, corresponding storage and pipeline transportation agreements including prior period adjustments and ensures contractual compliance.
- Manages provisional and final invoices for LNG and HHC sales activities.
- Manages receipts, payments, collections, and settlement issues with counterparties.
- Assists Treasury in cash management and forecasting.
- Demonstrates expertise in both Endur ETRM as well as SAP ERP PTP processes and systems to ensure timely, efficient and accurate settlements and receipts are realized.
- Assists with month end and year end close activities including reviewing and analyzing financial data, statements, and reports to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
- Assists with interim and year end audit processes with the external audit firm. Assists in coordinating PBC and other audit requests. Works closely with external auditors on controls questions, issues, and deficiencies.
- Manages staff with monthly tasks, journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Lead and mentor the team’s skills development, career path development, performance evaluations (including setting goals and objectives), and partner with leadership to manage team composition.
- Responsible for preparing function’s annual budget and stewarding costs.
- Fully supports company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities.
- Own and oversee function’s processes, controls, and documentation.
- Special projects as needed.- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- 10+ years of gas supply and/or LNG accounting/settlements experience in the North American Energy market, of which minimum 7 years direct settlements experience.
- Knowledge of financial derivatives settlements, ideally in physical and financial gas, natural gas assets (pipeline and storage), heavy hydrocarbons, and LNG.
- Experience in top ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience in top ETRM systems, preferably Endur 7+ years of leadership experience in settlements with a proven track record of building out teams.Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships and seamless interfaces across the business, including front, middle and back-office teams as well as with senior management.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools. Maintain Customer Relationships: Experienced in building and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness to needs, and alignment of financial insights to support their objectives.
