Job description

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred

- Ability to lift loads up to 40 lbs

- Knowledge of CNC machining, lathe and milling

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machine for production

- Accurately measure offsets and able to make calculations that may be required for material/drawings

- Ability to read specs of drawings and produce parts as per specs/required tolerances

- Able to cut required material to size and inspect parts throughout process to insure requirements

- Critical thinking skills is essential - make required adjustments as needed

- Can work independently

- Background in programming is an asset (AutoCAD, Mastercam)

- Able to do finishing of parts (e.g. sanding, deburring, smooth-en rough edges)

- Assist with any duties assigned

- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols

- Experience with Haas VF CNC Machine is an asset

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
