Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce parts and components. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, drills) according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

- Load raw materials and tooling, monitor machining processes, and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.

- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, etc.).

- Maintain proper documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and production logs as required.

- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and report major malfunctions.

- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.

- Adhere to safety standards and company policies to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality assurance teams to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

- Technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.

- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment is preferred

- Familiarity with Fanuc controllers.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

- Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code) a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs. as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
