Copernicus is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you'll work with advanced CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts for our new Made-in-Canada product line.

- Set up and operate CNC as well as other related manufacturing machines to meet production specifications.
- Write and load programs and execute operations based on technical drawings.
- Perform tool changes, set offsets, and verify machine calibration.
- Collaborate with the Design and Production teams to optimize machining processes.
- Load raw materials and monitor the machining process for consistency and quality.
- Interpret technical drawings and work orders accurately.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Make real-time adjustments during production as necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate any mechanical or production issues to supervisors promptly.
- Support team members and assist other departments as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with CNC programming and operations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
