CNC Operator Job Description

Overview:

Love working with your hands? Enjoy precision and problem-solving? Come join our crew! We're on the hunt for a CNC Operator to bring their skills, sharp eye, and team spirit to our machine shop.

This isn’t your average job—we’re a small, tight-knit team where your work actually matters, and no two days are exactly the same. Duties include:

- Running CNC machines to create precision parts and components

- Measuring, gauging, and keeping things very accurate

- Helping out with daily shop duties (band saws, deburring, material handling)

- Solving problems on the fly and collaborating with your team

- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and running like a well-oiled machine

Qualifications:

- Experience with CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)

- A serious eye for detail and precision

- Someone who takes initiative and can manage their own workflow

- A good communicator with solid spoken and written English

- Physically up for the job—lifting up to 30 lbs and on your feet all day

- A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

Bonus Points if You've Got:

- Experience doing your own CNC setups (Haas machines)

- Comfort editing G & M code at the machine

- Familiarity with Mastercam

- MIG welding skills

- Forklift certification

- OFA Level 1 training

Job Perks:
