CNC Mill Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality control, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC milling machines with precision and accuracy.

- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.

- Perform CNC programming and setup for milling operations.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality.

- Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.

- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and materials handling.

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

- Proficiency in CNC programming, including experience with Fanuc controls.

- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) for design purposes.

- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

- Experience with CAM programming for efficient machining processes.

- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, tooling, and machining practices.

- Ability to operate additional machinery such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses is a plus.

- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations in machining tasks.

- Experience with hand tools and assembly line operations within a manufacturing facility.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
