CAD Drafter

We are looking for a motivated entry level CAD drafter with excellent skills in 3d computer modeling of solid objects and assemblies. No work experience is necessary, but you need to need to be able to show us formal transcript records that will detail your formal, supervised coursework in CAD/CAM subjects.

Primary work function is as an engineering assistant, and will be under the supervision of engineers. This is NOT an engineering position, so hard-core math and physics are not needed, as those functions will be performed by the supervising engineers. This job will involve generating 2D CAD drawings and 3D models, and engineering administrative work, such as preparing component lists, routing plans, manufacturing plans, etc. We use Autodesk Inventor, but we will accept proficiency with other packages such as Solidworks, etc. Another major aspect of your work will be corresponding with customers to make sure that correct technical requirements and information are exchanged.

As a matter of company policy, first six months are provisional. The position is open, and we are looking to have someone start as soon as possible.
