En tant que chef de projet – Ingénierie, vous jouerez un rôle clé au sein de notre équipe Solutions de réseaux et de qualité de l’onde (GPQS), spécialisé dans les systèmes de transmission flexible en courant alternatif (FACTS). La technologie FACTS permet aux opérateurs de réseaux électriques d'augmenter considérablement la capacité et la stabilité des infrastructures électriques existantes. Il en résulte une distribution d'électricité plus efficace pour les clients, un impact environnemental réduit et des investissements en capital moins importants par rapport aux alternatives traditionnelles.

Vous aurez pour tâche de gérer l'ensemble du volet « ingénierie de projets FACTS », depuis la proposition jusqu’à l'exécution, cela en veillant à ce que toutes les disciplines d'ingénierie soient harmonisées, efficaces et conformes aux spécifications du contrat, aux normes de sécurité et aux exigences de qualité.

Votre impact

- Diriger et coordonner toutes les activités d’ingénierie tout au long du cycle de vie du projet.

- Assurer la liaison technique principale avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les équipes internes.

- Veiller à ce que les livrables d’ingénierie respectent les objectifs de qualité, de coût et de calendrier.

- Soutenir l’élaboration de propositions au moyen de solutions novatrices et rentables.

- Réaliser des évaluations des risques et des possibilités, et mettre en œuvre des stratégies d’atténuation.

- Offrir un soutien technique pendant les phases d’installation, de mise en service et de démarrage.

Votre expérience

- Baccalauréat en génie électrique assorti de plus de 7 ans d’expérience pertinente

- Permis d’ingénieur ou capacité à obtenir

- Connaissance approfondie du Code national de l’électricité et des exigences ANSI/IEEE

- Connaissance approfondie des postes/sous-stations de transmission haute tension

- Connaissance des solutions FACTS (STATCOM, SVC, condensateurs série)

- Expérience de travail dans le cadre de projets d’ingénierie, d’approvisionnement et de construction (EPC)

- bilinguisme (français/anglais)

- Déplacements requis : environ 20 % au niveau national et international

The opportunity

As a Project Manager – Engineering, you will be a key contributor to our Grid & Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) team, specializing in Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). FACTS technology empowers power system operators to significantly increase the capacity and stability of existing electrical infrastructure. This results in more efficient power delivery to customers, reduced environmental impact, and lower capital investment compared to traditional alternatives.

You will be responsible for managing the entire engineering scope of FACTS projects—from proposal through execution—ensuring that all engineering disciplines are aligned, efficient, and compliant with contract specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Lead and coordinate all engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.

- Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

- Support proposal development with innovative, cost-effective solutions.

- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup phases.

Your background

- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering; 7+ years of relevant experience

- Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain

- In-depth knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements

- In-depth knowledge of Transmission High-Voltage substations

- Knowledge of FACTS solutions (STATCOM, SVC, Series Capacitor)

- Experience working in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects.

- Bilingual French/English

- Travel required ~20% both domestic and international
