CDL Driver

Overview:

Transporting material from our Lincoln Heights roofing branch to our customers in Kentucky and Ohio. We use DOT regulated Non-CDL 28' box trucks (automatic) and 26' class B CDL.

Requirements: Clean driving record, a valid drivers licenses, class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement and DOT medical examiner's certificate including drug screen (Company provided). Insurance requirements require applicants be 23 years of age or older. Roofing background and warehousing preferred but not required. Driving experience is required. This position directly reports to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities:

Assisting in loading and unloading of materials

- Verification of materials with delivery paperwork

- Safely and securely transporting materials in transit

- Treat customers in a courteous and professional manner

- Perform daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections

- Abide by all DOT and traffic regulations

- Assisting customers with the unloading and loading of materials

- Maintain a positive attitude in customer and co-worker interactions

- Attendance and willingness to work overtime when required
