Job Description

Do you have a CDL and want to work with a great team? Our mining and trucking business, based in Candor, NY, delivers a wide variety of gravel products produced at our five facilities. We also service residents and contractors throughout the Tioga and Tompkins areas.

We are seeking dependable CDL drivers with a positive attitude and a clean driving record to help meet seasonal demand and support ongoing operations.

This role involves daily local dump truck and/or dump trailer routes between our facilities, customer locations, job sites, and approved dump sites. Regular hours, home daily.

Mechanical knowledge is a plus. Listening, communication, and safety are essential.

We are a growing site work and mining contractor with more than 50 years in business and a strong, reliable team that works together to plan and communicate effectively to get the job done.

Requirements

● Valid CDL Class A or B (required)

● Meets all state and federal age requirements for CDL drivers

● Clean driving record

● Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Candor, NY prior to start date

● Pre-employment license verification and drug screening in compliance with applicable New York State and federal law, including CDL requirements

Preferred Qualifications

● 1 year of commercial driving experience

● Mechanical ability

● Willingness to learn additional equipment Training & Advancement

● Opportunities to train on a variety of trucks, heavy equipment, and mining equipment

● Required training provided as needed and in compliance with MSHA
