Position Overview:

American BioSource is seeking a reliable, honest, and hard-working CDL Class A Driver with a Tanker Endorsement to join our team. This full-time role involves picking up and delivering loads of used cooking oil between collection points and processing facilities.

Drivers are dispatched based on load availability and operational needs. The position involves semi-regional travel with overnight stays during the week, and weekend work is part of the schedule. Drivers typically work 50 to 60 hours per week depending on load volume and scheduling.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable operating tanker equipment while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Class A tanker trucks to pick up and deliver loads of used cooking oil.

- Safely load, transport, and unload liquid materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.

- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer.

- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and scheduling.

- Maintain accurate driver logs and DOT compliance records.

- Ensure proper documentation for all loads transported.

- Follow dispatch instructions and schedules.

- Adhere to all company safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

- Tanker Endorsement (required)

- Valid DOT Medical Card

- Minimum 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience

- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test

- Clean background check

- Experience hauling liquid or tanker loads preferred

Pay: $205.00 - $275.00 per day
