CDL- Class A needed!

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL-A truck Driver to join our team at Farmer Tank, Elkhart, IN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety.

We Offer:

- Year round employment

- Home every evening, Hours are Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Deliveries are within a 60- mile radius

- ELD exempt

- Compensation is commensuate to years of experience

Requirements:

- 1-2 years prior driving and off pavement experience needed

- Valid CDL-A license

- No prior incidents,

- Forklift and/or boom truck experience is a plus,

- A team player that works well with others,

- Safe driving record and knowledge of truck operations.

Accountabilities:

- Load and unload concrete products, plastic pipe and other materials at non-paved construction jobsites utilizing a boom truck.

- Provide excellent service and promptness to customers.

- During the day between deliveries or during slow times, will perform other duties such as re-stocking materials for future deliveries and assisting other drivers. Must be open minded to get the job done each day.

- Maintains cleanliness of truck and other equipment.

- Verifies that all materials on the customers order are delivered promptly and correctly.

- Follows all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.

- Adhere to company policies regarding safety practices and protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
