CDL A/B Propane Delivery Route Truck Driver - Kingston, NY - Full Time

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Delivery Driver, you will have access to an exciting career that helps us ensure that fuel arrives to our customers safely, on-time, and with ease.

- Deliver fuel in a safe and efficient manner

- Maintain the delivery truck which includes reviewing the maintenance record, performing inspections and reporting all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation

- Provide superior customer service

- Account for funds and inventory

REQUIREMENTS

- Age: 21 and above with a neat and clean appearance

- Clean driving record with a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce

- On-call duty rotation is required to include weekends and evenings

- Have a focus on safety, have a desire to learn and grow

- Proficient verbal and written communication skills to complete paperwork

- Team player who displays a professional attitude to all customers, contractors, and teammates.

- Ability to lift and pull equipment that weighs 50 to 75 lbs.

- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions

- Knowledge of propane is a plus but no experience is necessary

Please note that background checks and drug screens are performed as part of our pre-employment hiring process.

POSITION

- Union, full-time: 40 hours, Monday—Friday, some overtime may be required

The job will originate out of our Kingston, NY office.
