Carlin - Metallurgist

- Monitor and optimize gold processing circuits (crushing, grinding, roasting, leaching) to improve recovery and reduce costs

- Analyze metallurgical data and trends to identify issues and support operational decision-making

- Conduct metallurgical test work (lab and plant scale) to evaluate process changes and improvement opportunities

- Ensure accurate sampling and reporting for metallurgical accounting and production reconciliation

- Support troubleshooting and provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams

- Participate in project work and plant commissioning of new equipment or process modifications

- Promote and uphold safety, environmental, and compliance standards while contributing to team training and development

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Process-related degree required

- Knowledge of the principles and methods used in complex gold metallurgical and processing analysis required

- Hands-on practical application and process optimization with 1-3 years’ experience is highly preferred

- Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, and take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required

- Proficiency in multiple software application and network platforms highly preferred

- Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets programmatically is highly preferred

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
