Cable Technician I (Onsite: Ross, ND)

The Cable Technician I under direct supervision, performs basic operations to test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.

- Pay Rate: Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience.

- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with the high possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and other factors.

- Shift Details: Day shift | 40-hour/Week with overtime

Responsibilities

- Receives cable and carries out basic tests.

- Performs basic repairs and learns how to splice cable.

- Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field.

This is an entry level position where the employee is expected to learn all relevant company HSE policies and procedures and to demonstrate their application into his/her duties.

Requires completion of a high school diploma, or equivalent. No previous experience required.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.

- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

- Ability to operate a Forklif and Skid Steer

- Basic computer skills are preferred.

- Mechanically inclined.
