Position status: Exempt
Position Summary
This position is the face of FHE as it interacts with existing and potential customers. This position requires a strong understanding of FHE and the products and services we provide as well as the industry in which we service. A strong ability and desire to meet and exceed sales goals through strategy development and implementation is required.
Job Description/Expectations•Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers using solid business products and service knowledge.
•Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
•Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
•Reaching out to customers leads through cold calling
•Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
•Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
•Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
•Analyze the market’s potential, track sales and status reports
•Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
•Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
•Continuously improve through feedback
Knowledge / Skills / Expertise
•Proven sales track record
•Experience in customer support is a plus
•Proficiency in MS Office and ERP, CORE (FHE proprietary program)
•Local and Global market knowledge
•Communication and negotiation skills
•Ability to build rapport
•Time management and planning skills
Environmental Conditions And Work Environment
•Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
•Exposure to loud noise levels, at times.
•This position works in both an office and outside sales setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
Tools And Equipment Used
General office equipment: Computer, phone, copier
Physical Demands•The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50-75 pounds or more without physical restrictions.
•Employees are regularly required to sit or stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots, gloves, hard hats, and hearing protection daily.
Other•Dress in a fashion that enables employees to complete the daily tasks, while maintaining a professional and appropriate appearance.
