We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support firm growth through strategic communication, opportunity tracking, relationship management, and marketing coordination. This role sits at the intersection of business development, communications, and client engagement, supporting both public- and private-sector pursuits.
This position is ideal for an independent contractor with strong communication skills and business development instincts who enjoys connecting people, organizing opportunities, and executing growth-focused initiatives. As Aeparmia continues to grow, this role has the potential to transition into a full-time position. This is ideal for someone with a business development or marketing background, preferably in the Engineering and Construction industry.
- Proactively research and track prospective clients, agencies, industry sectors, and business opportunities aligned with Aeparmia’s growth strategy
- Identify, track, and coordinate RFQs, RFPs, SOQs, and procurement opportunities across multiple platforms
- Support opportunity positioning, pursuit planning, and teaming coordination in collaboration with leadership
- Manage vendor registrations, pre-qualifications, and compliance documentation with minimal direction or supervision
- Coordinate proposal schedules, materials, and submissions to ensure compliance and on-time delivery
- Maintain and manage CRM data, pursuit pipelines, and follow-up workflows
- Draft and manage professional outreach and follow-up communications as Aeparmia’s representative in collaboration with leadership
- Support client, partner, and agency relationship management and account coordination
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, interviews, and BD-related activities
- Maintain organized digital file systems and BD documentation standards
- Support marketing initiatives, conferences, sponsorships, and client events
- Assist with preparation of presentations, marketing materials, and outreach content
- Help ensure consistency, accountability, and execution as business development priorities evolve
- Follow Aeparmia’s standard operations procedures for time tracking and tasks management systems
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- Minimum 3 years in business development, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Past experience supporting professional services, engineering, infrastructure, or public-sector organizations is a plus
- Past experience with proposal coordination, client outreach, or event engagement
- Minimum 3 references for similar positions
- Strong task management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related tools
- Ability to multi-task
