Overview:
We’re looking for an Events Team Lead to join our Events/Retail team!
As an Events Team Lead for Esler Companies – Renewal by Andersen you will be required to split your time between the office and travel to events, retail locations and home shows. You will develop and manage a team through performance analysis, on-site coaching, and in-office training. Your role requires the ability to create team goals and action plans, analyze performance data, develop team performance, and assist in department growth.
Responsibilities:
•Creating weekly and monthly goals for leads booked, leads issued, Hours per Demo (HpD) and set rate.
•Creating an action plan weekly/monthly with specific steps and timeline to reach goals and analyzing it for potential challenges and execution.
•Submitting weekly and monthly team goals and action plan to Director, and meeting with Director every week.
•Verifying all leads set by team members are in Enabled. Enter callbacks when necessary.
•Assessing training opportunities with individual teammates and/or with types of events and conducting one 1-hour training session every week to role play and discuss performance.
•Creating a written weekly and monthly team performance analysis that includes a breakdown of event/retail performance and the team/individuals that are doing well, what they need to improve upon, and how you plan to make it happen.
•Making 2-4 site visits per weekend and visit with promoters for at least 2 hours. Submitting forms with thorough feedback by Monday EOD.
•Fostering a culture of positive reinforcement and positive, competitive atmosphere between teammates.
•Setting up at least one event every month with a teammate while following the script, methodology and process, without compromise, and engaging in conversations with homeowners to model ideal interactions.
•Texting a picture upon arrival at events and an event recap at the completion of the site visit.
•Recruiting and referring potential new hire candidates and assisting with classes when appropriate.
•Research and book new events and homes and assist in setting up events and home shows, when necessary.
Qualifications:
•Excellent team relations, empathetic & personable skills.
•Exceptional leadership and communication skills and ability to manage a team.
•Ability to organize, prioritize, and work with a sense of urgency to complete responsibilities timely.
•Ability to adapt well and accept/give feedback in a changing environment.
•Ability to work independently.
•Be data driven; ability to tell a story based on qualitative and quantitative data.
•At least 1 year of experience in an event associate role required.
