We are looking for a Team Lead, Customer Projects. Lead the Customer Projects team to deliver an exceptional customer experience by overseeing efficient project intake and execution within the Expedited Customer Projects (ECP) model. The Team Lead ensures both internal and external stakeholders receive responsive, high-quality service, supporting ENMAX’s commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Major Responsibilities:
•Resolve conflicts and work with peer groups such as field services, project controls, supply chain management, project delivery and engineering to manage expectations of project deliverables.
•Assess KPI metrics and report back to senior leaders.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to review, authenticate, and provide guidance on project design and execution. Responsible of conducting design and scoping activities based on project volumes.
•Maximize the development, performance and engagement of Technologists, Engineers and Project Administrators who manage and maintain external customer relations by ensuring that the team meets customer expectations regarding project execution.
•Mitigate customer escalations as required. Liaise with other accountable departments to agree on a suitable outcome for the customer and/or the business.
•Execute and promote best practices for project management processes to ensure project deliverables are consistently met. Implement process changes and improvements, while working with other internal stakeholders within ENMAX.
•Prepare multi-year capital budget and forecast for projects and programs while accurately forecasting where applicable.
•Oversee all project components including scope, cost, schedule, EHS, quality management, change management, and customer satisfaction.
•Report project status, change requests, schedule and finances to internal and external customers.
•Manage qualified subcontractors as required to deliver project scopes and adhere to project schedules.
•Support to the management team for implementing process changes and improvements.
•Accountable for the safe execution of their projects.
•Manage and motivate staff through effective leadership, mentoring, communication, coaching, development, and evaluation.
Education Required:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technologist Diploma in Engineering with a Professional Licensee, P.L.(Eng), designation.
•Registered as a Professional with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
Qualifications & Experience:
•Project Management knowledge in reference to the PMBOK Guide
•8-10 years’ experience in distribution design with a strong focus on customer service
•High level of knowledge of the distribution system and distribution design
•Understanding of power system infrastructure
•Project Management skills including cost, quality, schedule and risk management

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
