Associate, Client Relations – Specification Sales (“Spec Team”)
Location: Boston, MA (Office-Based) Primary Focus: Architects, landscape architects, and specifiers Territory Focus: New York City & Boston
The Associate, Client Relations – Specification Sales plays a critical role in growing RAAFT USA’s specification pipeline by actively supporting in-field specification efforts and ensuring projects are chased from early identification through order placement.
This position is responsible for booking and coordinating in-field meetings with architects and specifiers, primarily in the New York market, supporting key accounts identified by the Principal, and managing all related administrative follow-up. The role combines relationship support, project tracking, and disciplined CRM management to ensure no opportunities are lost between specification and order.
The goal of this role is to grow specification-driven sales while enabling the in-field operative to focus on high-value relationship building and new lead generation.
- Proactively chase and track specification opportunities from initial discovery through order stage
- Book, schedule and coordinate in-field meetings for the specification sales operative, primarily with architects and specifiers in the New York area.
- Providing clear notes (pre-meeting) of opportunities, new contacts, and clear outcomes required from meetings booked.
- Identify and log new projects and leads uncovered through meetings, research, and follow-ups
- Maintain detailed CRM records, including meeting notes, contacts, project updates, and next steps
- Actively follow up with specifiers, general contractors, and all internal/external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward
- Support the preparation and coordination of Lunch & Learns, Mock Ups, and product information as needed
- Ensure specification opportunities transition smoothly into active sales pursuits and orders
- Daily hunting for new contacts in Key Accounts for telemarketing blitz- 2–5+ years of experience in construction sales, architecture relations, project based B2B selling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable communicating with architects, designers, and construction professionals

- Detail-oriented with strong CRM administrative discipline
- CRM experience required (project tracking and activity logging)
- Familiarity with architectural workflows and specifications is a plus
- Believes in outbound calling and that activity drives results

- Orders In - $1.83m
- Base Salary: $50,000 – $70,000
- Bonus/Commission: $10,000 – $30,000
- OTE: $60,000 – $100,000
