Position Summary
As an Associate Application Support Analyst at Oncor, will be primary front-end support for data and labor reporting within Oncor’s systems and mobile apps. This role is responsible for providing timely, professional and comprehensive day-to-day functional support to internal and external customers regarding the use of software applications, databases and processes associated with the maintenance of Transmission assets. In addition, you’ll assist with application training and are responsible for the quality assurance of the data within Oncor’s systems.
Key Responsibilities
•Provides functional support and oversight of aforementioned applications via direct interaction with Transmission end users.
•Assist in initial triage and daily documentation of all reported incidents.
•Provide daily logging of all end user interactions derived from phone call and email requests in our service request portal.
•Support all reporting, tracking, testing and implementation of application and system issues.
•Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
Skills
•Excellent Microsoft Office experience.
•Must be adaptive and comfortable with rapidly changing objectives.
•Possess excellent application support management skills.
Education & Experience
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and 1+ years of relevant experience required.
•Applicants with Bachelor’s degree encouraged to apply.
Measure Of Success
•Familiarity with the Oncor Transmission system station one-lines.
•Be proactive in completing tasks and projects in a timely manner and report on progress.
•Keep supervisor informed of ongoing tasks and any questions or concerns.
•Supply updates on as needed but not less than once per month on asset location additions and changes.
•Diligently monitor progress of all tasks and projects and deal with questions or concerns efficiently and knowledgably.
