This position is responsible for assisting with the management of all warehouse activates for the company. This includes job site deliveries, tool quality and inventory management, safety equipment quality, warehouse vehicle management and material inventory management. This individual is not expected to be in charge of day to day coordination for remote offices, but will help lead each location's adherence to company quality standards. All warehouse support team members will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to assist in any duties that may be required to deliver a high-quality product for the customer.
1.Assist with conducting daily morning huddles to discuss the days activities, safety and site hazards. If Warehouse Manager is not available, conduct the daily morning huddles.
2.Assist with strategically setting routes for all deliveries. If the Warehouse Manager is not available, coordinate with Warehouse Associates to set up deliveries for the day.
3.Assist with checking out and checking in tools when requested by the field supervisors. Must assist with the coordination of deliveries to the individual jobsite when required or needed.
4.Assist with inspecting each tool upon return to ensure full functionality before storing in warehouse.
5.Assist with performing preventative maintenance on all tools and equipment.
6.Assist with labeling new tools to company standard.
7.Assist with receiving and organizing materials that are delivered to the warehouse. Assist with communication with appropriate Project Manager and Field Supervisor.
8.Assist with ensure warehouse is neat, clean and organized at all times.
10.Assist with maintaining all warehouse vehicles and assist with addressing issues as they arise.
11.Assist with maintaining all company safety equipment and store in a manner that matches the manufacturers recommendation. Assist in supporting annual inspections for appropriate PPE.
12.Follow all company SOPs and assist with ensuring that all warehouse associates are as well. Suggest changes and additional SOPs when necessary.
13.Assist with coordinating tool replacement or purchase with tool supplier.
1.Has authority to direct all warehouse associates company wide with guideance from the Warehouse Manager.
2.Has authority to request quotations from tool suppliers but does not have authority to purchase tools without Company Superintendent approval.
3.Has authority to suggest additional resources needed but does not have the authority to hire or fire.
2.Will work deeply with the field team and must maintain a good relationship with them all, viewing the field team as an internal customer.
1.The Assistant Warehouse Manager must be wholly responsible for the functionality and cleanliness of the warehouse and tools.
2.The Assistant Warehouse Manager will lead and conduct typical duties in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
1.Minimum of 3 years having worked in a management level position, preferably in a related field.
2.Demonstrate good interpersonal, customer service, written and oral skills.
3.Bring a positive can-do attitude every day.4.Ability to take initiative and handle multiple, simultaneous priorities.
5.Must have a valid Michigan Drivers license. CDL is preferred.
