Overview:
Nino Development is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager with a background in Structural Steel Fabrication projects up to $100M. We specialize in a wide range of project types and are looking for a motivated individual to support our project management team in Portland, OR. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a reputable company working on diverse and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project-related tasks.
•Identify and promote changes to improve productivity and quality on the project.
•Communicate effectively with project stakeholders (Owner, Designer, Architect, Engineering) regarding project schedules, issues, and activities.
•Develop Requests for Information (RFIs), work plans, and submittals for the project.
•Track and report quantities of work performed and understand the associated costs.
•Develop time and material final pricing submittals.
•Assist with the development and maintenance of the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule.
•Maintain as-built drawings with assistance from field staff.
•Perform project-specific tasks assigned by higher-level managers.
•Understand and communicate contract scope to field staff.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience in Structural Steel Fabrication projects.
•Tekla Software experience preferred.
•Experience working on both Commercial and Industrial structural steel projects.
•Proficient in MS Office Products and Bluebeam.
