Position Overview:We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Las Vegas, NV team! The Assistant Project Manager will participate in the planning, directing, and coordinating of high-voltage electric transmission, substation, and distribution construction and maintenance projects throughout the country. This role involves participating in the conceptual development of these projects and overseeing their organization, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Management:* Responsible for the lifecycle of a project + Receive work authorization from customer and download IFC job packets + Communicate with field operations team for field review/preparation + Receive field coms back on what resources are required/needed + Create job schedule with field ops and subcontractors + Assist with budget projections for labor, material, equipment, and subcontractors procured on the project. + Submit locates and additional dependencies + Notify customers of clear dependencies, outage information, and schedule dates + Field does the work + Complete change orders/update clients of any rescheduling/issues on the job + Completed job packets received, reviewed, and verified of proper completion + Submit completed job packets to quality control specialists

Contract Administration Support in preparing, reviewing, and documenting any revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements to discuss with suppliers and subcontractors.* Support the preparation of contracts and assist with negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

Documentation and Reporting:* Maintain electronic and printed files of working documents in accordance with outlined document control practices.

Stakeholder Communication and Issue Resolution:* Communicate with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, or engineers to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.

Material and Quality Management:* Execute corrective actions to address delays, adverse weather conditions, or emergencies.
