The Assistant Project Manager works within the Project Management team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project from preconstruction to completion to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. SCI will provide training, mentoring and the tools to ensure you are supported and developing professionally.
· Assist with preconstruction. Track bidding, engage subcontractors for proposals.
· Assist with tracking change orders, collecting backup and vetting process.
· Assist with setting up newly awarded projects according to SCI’s requirements
· Distribute project documents to team members accordingly.
· Assist with project buyout, leveling scopes, etc.
· Issue Project Specific Agreements to applicable Subcontractors
· Review submittals for accuracy and submit to design team.
· Assist project team with the reaction and distribution of RFI’s.
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or applicable discipline. (Desired but not required.)
· Understanding of Procore software. (Desired but not required.)
· OSHA 30 certification (SCI will provide training)
· Ability to read and interpret project plan set, specifications, and submittals (SCI will provide training)
· Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
· General understanding of industry, construction materials and methods.
· Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
