Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. You will collaborate closely with PM Department, Superintendent's, Foremen and clients to facilitate effective communication and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management principles and relevant software tools, particularly within the construction/Electrical industry. This position is Temporary- possibility to become permanent.
Responsibilities
•Assist in the development and management of project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
•Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications.
•Prepare and review schematics and contract documents for accuracy and compliance.
•Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management.
•Implement effective time management strategies to optimize resource allocation.
•Facilitate meetings with team members to discuss project updates, challenges, and solutions.
•Maintain organized project files and documentation for easy access by all team members.
Skills
•Strong understanding of construction/Electrical site operations and project scheduling techniques.
•Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Familiarity with contract documents and schematics related to construction projects.
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for quality assurance in project deliverables.
