The ASM of Kitchen Operations oversees all back-of-house operations for the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), ensuring consistent food quality, speed of service, food safety compliance, and effective kitchen team leadership. This role is responsible for managing kitchen staff performance, inventory, food cost control, and execution of menu standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience every time.
- Lead all kitchen operations to meet or exceed standards for speed, quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, portioning, cooking methods, and presentation.
- Maintain compliance with all health department, OSHA, and company sanitation and safety requirements.
- Manage food inventory, rotation, and daily line checks to maintain quality and control costs.
- Ensure proper execution of all menu items and coordinate with the GM to meet peak-hour demands.
- Recommend kitchen scheduling, daily prep lists, and production plans based on forecasted volume.
- Recommend orders based on forecasted demand and on-hand inventory.
- Enforce equipment maintenance and cleanliness, reporting repair needs promptly.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of kitchen employees.
- Model teamwork and positive communication between all employees.
- Create and maintain an inclusive, collaborative team culture focused on teamwork and best in class customer service.- 2+ years of experience in a QSR, fast-casual, or restaurant kitchen management role required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 18+ years old with reliable transportation.- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
- Proven leadership in fast-paced food-service environment preferred.
- Strong background in food service, employee training, and expense control.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.

- Status: Full-time, Non-exempt.
- Pay range between $24-$28/hr. and is commensurate with position, experience, and location.
