Job Description
This role will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and team supervision while supporting the broader finance strategy. This individual will be responsible for and support the integrity of all general ledger accounting and related compliance for all TLC entities.
Job Requirements
•Manage and oversee general ledger transactions and related reconciliations.
•Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules, including support for the annual external financial statement preparation.
•Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
•Prepare/review monthly gross receipts and quarterly payroll tax filings for accuracy.
•Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
•Mentor and supervise Staff Accountant(s).
•Support implementation of improved accounting workflows and tools as part of the finance transformation.
Coordinate with outside CPA firm during annual financial statement review and the Company’s 401(k) audit*.
•Collaborate closely with the FP&A and Data & Analytics teams to support integrated internal financial reporting.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
•5+ years of accounting experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
•Public accounting experience including preparation of financial statements and footnotes … CPA preferred but not required.
•Experience in multi-entity GL management and financial statement preparation.
•Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista/QB Online) and Excel.
•Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and with senior leadership.
Salary
$106,000 - $170,000 (based on experience)
