Reporting to the Senior Logistics Supervisor, Asset Protection, you will be part of the Asset Protection Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Provide ongoing support for the primary employee transportation busing depot for the Detour Lake Mine site.
- Assist with passenger pre-screening activities, including Visitor Management Software sign-ins, delivering General Site Orientations, verifying travel requirements, and creating access control cards as needed;
- Administer, and maintain all electronic and physical security systems including user and operator access levels and permissions;
- Maintain and update all training on learning Management Software, instruction, technical and troubleshooting documentation, spreadsheets and manuals required to ensure the continued operations of all electronic and physical security systems;
- Assist AP Management with maintaining travel/schedule documentation for Asset Protection personnel.
- Implement, organize and provide technical support for electronic and physical Cochrane Bus Terminal security systems such as vendor-based updates, patches and upgrades for equipment and software related to Asset Protection based systems.
- Coordinate and support services to ensure proper maintenance of designated Agnico Eagle residential properties in Cochrane and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Support the Cochrane Bus Terminal Asset Protection & Logistics Supervisor by monitoring invoice tracking and ensuring accountability for requisitions, purchases, and payments, while reporting directly to the Asset Protection and Emergency Management Superintendent;
- Maintain thorough knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services ordering and inventory control;
- Demonstrate a friendly, approachable attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for all Agnico Eagle employees, business partners and guests.
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Law and Security Administration, Office Administration program or related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security is considered an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of common office productivity software applications.
- Demonstrated experience in administrative support, preferably within a security or asset protection environment.
- Experience using purchasing and expense management software.
- Familiarity with access control systems, video management platforms, and visitor management tools and ability to troubleshoot, is advantageous.
- Certified Protection Officer (CPO) and CPO Instructor designation, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information related to security incidents, investigations, and personnel matters.
- Schedule: 4/3 (Monday to Thursday) based at the Cochrane Bus Terminal (CBT) in Cochrane, ON.
