Area Supervisor/Manager

Job Description

Quality Plus is a dynamic concept of a gas station and smoke shop that allows the manager to live on site of the property and develop a true owner operator spirit and pride for the business. Product sales of gasoline are completed at the pump or via a drive thru window in which tobacco product and other small convenience items are sold as well. We currently have 57 locations operating throughout NC, VA and TN and are continuing to build and expand these properties daily. Managers of these properties are able to develop a relationship with their customers and community that fosters a customer base like no other.

The Quality Plus area supervisor is responsible for the oversight of a group of QP properties and their managers within the Western territory. This territory includes stores in the areas of Western NC and a few stores in Eastern TN. This person is responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and training of all store managers. The area supervisor is responsible for performing monthly audits, protecting company assets, providing guidance and assistance to managers to meet monthly sales goals, and ensuring compliance of all company policies.

Job Responsibilities

- Hiring responsibilities of managers for all locations

- Frequent audits to ensure protection of company assets

- Ensuring that all managers are in compliance with company policy

- Assistance and guidance to all managers to ensure that monthly sales goals are met

- Ensuring that managers are aware of the surrounding market pricing daily

- Completing all paperwork in a timely manner

Requirements

- Must have excellent communication skills

- Must be organized and detail oriented

- 3+ years of multi-store, retail management - C-store experience heavily preferred

- Good managerial skills - with a teach by showing mentality

- Strong multi-tasking abilities

- Must be able to travel frequently by car

- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, sit, stand, stretch multiple times per day

- Must be able to lift 30+ pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $62,000.00 per year
