Your Impact
As a
Reliability Analystat Newmont, you will play a critical role in optimizing asset performance and supporting maintenance and reliability initiatives across our operations. Your insights will help drive continuous improvement in equipment availability, reduce downtime, and contribute to safe and efficient site operations. As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Support reliability investigations and data collection to improve equipment performance across site.
- Monitor equipment performance using various metrics and recommend improvements to increase availability and reduce operating costs.
- Create, maintain, and update reliability databases and prepare reports on asset health and trends.
- Prepare standardized processes for maintaining fixed and mobile HME asset that align with appropriate overarching strategy.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence of failures.
- Contribute to planning of reliability programs, projects, and improvement strategies aligned with site goals.
- Collaborate closely with site maintenance planners to ensure they are aware of any new or modified strategies or tactics for their equipment.
- Collaborate with the maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure best practices in equipment care.
- Uphold safety standards and proactively participate in risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and continuous improvement activities.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Degree or diploma in Reliability, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in equipment reliability, maintenance planning, or asset management in an industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of maintenance strategies, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and data-driven performance tracking.
- Familiarity with failure mode analysis and reliability software systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP or other CMMS is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset, supporting collaboration with mine sites across the Americas business unit, including the Latin America region.
- Work Type: Fully remote, with occasional travel to site as required by business needs.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour workdays (4x10 schedule)
- Conditions: Mix of office-based administrative work and site visits to active mining and industrial settings.
- Safety: Strict adherence to PPE and all site safety requirements is mandatory.
- Competitive Pay: Annual salary of $83,400 to $111,180 CAD, plus 15% Short Term Incentive (STIP).

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $ 83,400-111,180. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
