Aggregate Foreman-Night Shift

Overview

Kilgore, a Summit Materials company, is looking for a qualified foreman to support our Highland, UT aggregate pit for the night shift. This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to multiple hourly teammates engaged in safe, daily plant operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Plan and direct operations in coordination with the Plant Manager and Operations coordinator.

- Review daily equipment inspection reports and respond accordingly.

- Monitor all plant personnel to make sure all training, safety, production and staffing needs are being met.

- Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately

- Responsible for maintaining quality of all products

- Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established

- Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

- Valid driver’s license is required.

- MSHA certification preferred

- 1-2 years previous quarry/mining experience preferred

- 2 or more years of experience on plan maintenance/preventive maintenance.

- Experience leading a team

- Plant/Preventative maintenance safety preferred
