Aerothermal Engineer, Aeroderivative Gas Turbines

A Snapshot of Your Day

AGT Power Turbine team is a build team responsible for complete ‘cradle to grave’ ownership of power turbines coupled with Aeroderivative Gas Generators. The individual in this role will contribute to the area of aero-thermal and heat transfer in the hot section of rotating machinery. Lead intricate turbine development, grow into a Power Turbine engineer with diverse team support.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Candidate will complete aero-thermal and heat transfer assessments of Turbine Components and Assemblies with focus on computational fluid dynamics.

- Provide In Service Support, Manufacturing Support and Procurement Support.

- Candidate will support the development, testing and validation of new Power Turbine designs coupled to an Aeroderivative Gas Generator.

What You Bring

- Candidate should have a bachelor’s in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

- 5+ years of experience working in turbomachinery analysis will be preferred.

- In Depth Understanding of CFD and Aero-thermal methods as applicable to gas turbines.

- Experience in using CAD tools is highly desirable.
