Benmet Steel is a full-service processor of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, centrally located in Guelph with multiple locations. We’re looking for an eager AR and AP Administrator who appreciates the challenges and rewards that a small and efficient team environment provides.

The Role

This position will not only provide exposure and hands on responsibilities within the administration and operation teams; however you will also gain valuable insight on business operations while working in a stimulating and supportive environment.

Your work will vary from week to week, and will include a variety of tasks including:

· Assists with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Create, issue and follow up directly on invoices.

· AR and AP account reconciliations.

· Office support as required.

Skills & Experience Required

o High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

o 2-4 years accounting related experience within a business environment is an asset

o Strong verbal and written communication skills

o Comfortable with routinely shifting demands

o High degree of attention to detail

o Highly professional, polite, and polished with a positive attitude

o Working knowledge of general office equipment
