Ecotech Hydro Excavation LLC, is a certified women owned small business, specializing in hydro and air excavation, utility locating and environmental services across the Mid-Atlantic region. Our service offerings have expanded to include emergency spill response, cleaning of energized manholes, vaults and oil/water separators as well as the transportation and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous and universal waste.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist –you will be joining out existing finance team and will be responsible for generating invoices based on work orders as well as providing administrative support in the office. High attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Create customer invoices from work orders; submit invoices to customers
- Enter job materials into QuickBooks and bill appropriately
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in payments
- Assist in contacting customers as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
- Utilize customer portals to follow up on submitted invoices
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Provide backup support for other Accounts Receivable staff
- Must see safety as a top priority
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- A 4-year degree plus 2+ years of accounts receivable experience OR equivalent work experience
- Environmental experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Construction industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Must consent to motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
- Manual Dexterity- Basic hand and finger movements for typing, writing, and handling small office tools or supplies.
- Lifting and carrying: Occasionally lifting light objects such as stacks of paper, files, or office supplies (typically not exceeding 10-20 pounds).
- Bending and reaching: Accessing items from drawers, shelves, and filing cabinets
