Summary
The Accounts Receivable Data Specialist is responsible for the customers’ data creation, maintenance, and resolution of issues, collaboration with various teams, addressing customer concerns, and general support to the Credit & Collections team. This position involves a high level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy, consistency and alignment.

What You’ll Do – The Role (Responsibilities)
•Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer master data across various systems, update existing customers’ records
•Adhere to established data standards, policies, and procedures and offer improvements
•Setting up customer accounts in the computer system with tax status and credit levels
•Analyze customer master data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues
•Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including sales, invoicing, finance, and IT
•Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
•Monitor AR shared inbox, addressing incoming internal and external requests
•Validate, clean up customer data file for new acquisitions for conversion in ERP
•Review of customers’ portals for invoice status
•Sending customer statements on regular basis
•Run assigned reports, manipulate data from the system
•Provide customers with copies of invoices as required
•Liaison between AR, collections, invoicing, operations and other internal stakeholders
•Assisting with processing credit applications
•Other duties and tasks, as assigned
What You Need (Requirement)
•1-3 years’ experience with data entry, mining, cleansing, and analyzing
•Familiarity with data governance principles, best practices and process improvements
•Post-secondary education preferred, or similar in education and experience
•Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including intermediate level proficiency in Excel.
•Customer Service experience plus
•Strong problem-solving skills with good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
•Written and verbal fluency in English
•Knowledge of French considered an asset
•Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O a plus
Working Conditions
•Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
•Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required
