Accounts Payable Specialist

Quality Roofing, Inc. is a continuously growing Roofing and General Contracting company committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our business operations.

Position Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support the Accounting department by managing vendor invoices, expense reporting, and payment processing. This role will also assist with general office duties and contribute to the overall efficiency and professionalism of our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and accurately enter vendor invoices, credit card charges, and expense reports into QuickBooks

· Ensure all transactions have proper departmental approvals

· Process vendor payments via check or online draft with appropriate authorization

· Respond to vendor inquiries and update vendor information as needed

· Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and digital/physical filing systems

· Support co-workers with data entry and other general office tasks

· Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to Roofing, Inc.'s mission and values

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role

· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and time management abilities

· Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in the construction or contracting industry
