Position Summary
Receiving, sorting and verifying invoices; processing accounts payable; organizing and maintaining vendors’ records; preparing and posting journal entries; processing fixed assets and other accounting transactions as needed.
Essential Functions
•Assisting vendor account setups and updates with HQ, addressing and responding to vendor inquiries.
•Matching, coding, and posting invoices in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Processing weekly Accounts Payable (AP) payments, verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions, researching and resolving accounts payable issues.
•Carrying out month-end closing responsibilities of Accounts Payable, processing journal entries for month-end adjustments, accruals, and other accounting transactions. Reconciling supplementary schedules.
•Coordinating annual audit and Korea Sarbanes Oxley (K-Sox) requests (if authorized to do).
•Other duties as needed and assigned.
Education and Experience
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Business preferred. 2 years of related work experience.

•Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (i.e. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), regulations and systems of internal control.
•Strong time management, ability to complete assignments within deadlines.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•The ability to work on night and/or weekend shifts with overtime opportunities available
Physical Demands
•Typical demands include those of an office environment including typing, sitting and looking at a computer monitor for extended periods.
•Occasionally lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 51 pounds unassisted, when performing essential job functions.
•May need to bend, stoop, crouch, ascend, and/or descend on a regular basis, when performing essential job functions
•Constantly observes, assesses, inspects, communicates, detects, conveys, and exchanges information, when performing essential job functions.
