Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary

Our company is built upon the talent and experience of our associates, and we are looking for an entry-level Accounts Payable Clerk to support our Accounting Department. This is a full-time position. We are looking for an individual that has a great attitude and a willingness and desire to learn. This person will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Department in various clerical functions including, but not limited to, matching purchase orders to invoices, coding of purchase orders and invoices for entry into an ERP system (COINS program), issuing payment of invoices, assisting the accounting supervisor with month end processes and assisting with telephone coverage for the reception desk when needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires regular travel by car to perform the required functions. Travel by airplane may be occasionally required.
