Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of our growing company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. In addition to managing the monthly close, financial reporting, and accounting operations, this individual will support financing compliance, investor reporting, and internal controls.

Ideal Candidate Profile

•

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation required

•

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with a mix of public accounting and industry roles

•

Strong understanding of GAAP; experience with financing compliance a plus

•

Preferred experience with tax equity structures, investment tax credits (ITCs), and derivative accounting

•

Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

•

Proficient in accounting systems (ideally Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Key Responsibilities

•

Oversee general ledger and ensure accuracy of accounting records

•

Lead month-end and year-end close process

•

Manage AP/AR, account reconciliations, accruals and journal entries

•

Prepare technical accounting memos

•

Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

•

Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

•

Maintain compliance with debt covenants and investor reporting requirements

•

Prepare and submit financial deliverables under financing agreements (e.g., financial statements, compliance certificates, budget packages)

•

Support audits, tax filings, and financing-related diligence processes

•

Collaborate with operations, legal, and external advisors as needed

•

Support special projects, including new system implementations and entity structuring
