ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Atlas Pressed Metals has been a family-owned manufacturer of powder metals components for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled customer experience offering full-service technical capabilities of an in-house engineering staff, research and development metallurgical lab, machine shop and secondary operations.

Our growing organization in DuBois, PA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. This role is critical for ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to identify trends and areas for improvement

· Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting future financial performance and identifying potential risks

· Ensure adherence to accounting standards (GAAP), tax laws, and other regulatory requirements

· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud

· Analyze financial data to identify key performance indicators, profitability trends, and areas for cost reduction

· Work with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings

· Manage accounting staff by reviewing work, performance and providing development opportunities

· Work closely with leadership team to ensure company goals are achieved

Successful Candidate Will

· Have received a B.S. in Accounting or Finance

· Have at least five years accounting management experience

· CPA preferred
