Accounting Manager

South Central Power Company, Ohio’s largest electric cooperative, is seeking an individual to fill the position of Accounting Manager.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to the accounting group to ensure proper utilization and internal control of the cooperative’s assets. Ensures all work is being performed safely, properly and in accordance with sound accounting procedures and principals and meets requirements set forth in the R.U.S. Uniform System of Accounts. Assist with the continuous improvement to improve the processes impacting the department.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor with knowledge in general ledger, financial statements and general ledger reconciliations. They should be an effective communicator, organized, detail oriented and able to delegate work effectively. This position will report to the Director of Accounting and work out of the Lancaster office.
