We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Accounting & HR Coordinator to join our team and help ensure the accuracy of financial data while supporting HR and business operations.
The Accounting & HR Coordinator will manage financial records, payroll support, employee onboarding, and day-to-day HR activities. This role ensures that transactions are accurately recorded, employees are supported, and company operations run smoothly. You will contribute to maintaining streamlined processes that support our scalability and efficiency.
- Manage accounts payable (A/P): process vendor invoices, verify statements, prepare payments, and monitor cash flow.
- Manage accounts receivable (A/R): issue invoices, reconcile customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, and prepare aging reports.
- Reconcile inventory and track financial records of materials and goods.
- Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow summaries.
- Support audits, compliance processes, and inter-departmental financial information flow.
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations.
- Support payroll and benefits administration.
- Coordinate employee communications, performance reviews, and HR projects.
- Assist with offboarding and exit documentation.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or HR coordination, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, and HR practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel) and HRIS/payroll systems (ADP, Paylocity, BambooHR).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of inventory management or reconciliation is a plus.
