Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Accounting Receivable and Payable Assistant to support our finance department. This role is responsible for managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to helping maintain the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
•Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
•Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances.
•Conduct weekly reviews of AR balances and initiate collection calls or send reminders to delinquent accounts.
•Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment statuses.· Research and resolve discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts.
•Accurately process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
•Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
•Enter company credit card transactions on a regular basis.
•Ensure all credit card expenses are properly coded and supported by appropriate documentation.
•Other duties as assigned
Requirements
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Proficient in QuickBooks with a minimum of two years of experience
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Great analytical and computer skills (Microsoft and Google Suite experience a plus)
•Outstanding customer service skills
•Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
